Questions and Answers

Q1. What will I be expected to do in a session?
A1. Very little really. It does help if you have an idea of what you want to work on – if it helps you, you can write down notes to bring with you. During the session you will be lying down, fully clothed. I will test to see which chakra your issues are held in and a sacred stone will be put on the chakra to help release the heavy energy that is trapped there. You will need to breathe from your diaphragm, in through the nose and out through the mouth. The breathing is very important as it helps the chakra to clear, I will guide you and if necessary increase or decrease your pace. You will also be required to allow yourself to feel the emotion of the issue you wish to be free of. You will not be asked to re-live a traumatic event, but you will need to bring up the emotions that were raised in you at the time of the trauma, as this is a method of releasing them from the energy body.

It is very important that you allow yourself to express any emotion that comes up. I am used to this and it is a good sign that emotions are being released. You are wasting your time and your money if you do not allow yourself get involved in the process. I know it may be a little embarrassing to cry, particularly if you are a man, but your healing is more important than a few tears.

Q2. Will I be touched? If so, where?
A2. YES. You will be touched and I will need you to be happy with this. Throughout the session I will be holding a couple of pressure points on the back of your head. However, this is pretty much it. When I do the illumination, I will lightly touch the affected chakra(s) as I bring the new energy in. I have to work on the lowest affected chakra, if this is your base chakra then I tend to lay a small piece of fabric across the top of your legs, to prevent the stone from falling off. If you have tingling in your arms or legs due to the energy releasing, I can move this energy from you by smoothing down the energy field of your arms and legs using my hands. During Theta healing, you will need to place your hands over mine and I will need to do muscle testing on your hands.

Q3. Will I go into a trance?
A3. Absolutely not. You will need to stay “with me” throughout the process and give me continuous feedback on how you are doing. You will be very relaxed however.

Q4. Will I be in control of the process? What if I feel overwhelmed?
A4. Yes. You will be in complete control of the process; I am there to support and guide you and to help clear away the energy as it is released from the chakras. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, first increase the pace of your breathing, and literally blow the feelings away. If you start to feel panicky however, (which generally does not happen as this is a gentle process) you can always cross your arms over your chest and the whole process stops. When you feel better you can either continue or we can end the session, as I said before, you are in control.

Q5. What if I need to use the bathroom during the process?
A5. That’s fine – just say and we can stop as necessary. Just make sure you get up slowly as you may be a little dizzy. It is important that you are comfortable during your session so please do say. You can also tell me if you are hot or cold or thirsty….it does not disrupt the process.

Q6. What will you be doing during my session?
A6. I will be holding your pressure points, guiding your breathing and watching for changes in your energy body. Periodically, I will help remove the energy as it is released from the chakra and I may do this with my rattle, my hands or a feather. I will be guiding you throughout the process and asking you for feedback. When the energy body is clear of your issues I will test your chakras to make sure they are clear and then I will bring Divine light into your chakras ( hence the name “the Illumination Process”) which will revitalize you and give your energy body new energy which it can use to heal itself.

Q7. Will you be healing me directly?
A7. No. I will be using my intuition to guide you where you need to go in order to heal yourself. The process allows your body to release energy that does not serve you, that clogs up your energy body and can also, in turn, affect your physical body. During the actual illumination I will be bringing in the light of the Divine to your body. Additionally, in Theta healing, I will be using my abilities to ask pertinent questions and do muscle-testing. I will then connect with the Divine and witness your healing on the DNA, Soul, History and Belief levels of your being.

Q8. Will the healing still work if I have a different or no religious belief?
A8.Yes– it does not matter what religion you belong to - or if you do not have any religious belief at all.

Q9. Will my issue come back ?
A9. The memory of the event will still be with you but the emotional charge attached to it should have gone, or be considerably lessened.

Q10. How many sessions will I need?
A10. That depends upon the individual. Some people may have experienced huge trauma, and get it all cleared out in one go, (although it is recommended that a soul retrieval session is done in such circumstances). Three sessions should really help you. But it is important to understand that there is a sort of “onion layer” principle in operation - there is always more work that can be done! When we clear one onion layer, the issues hidden below this layer can rise to the surface. The goal is to peel away the onion layers until the person is healthy, happy, balanced, and their life is working well for them on all levels.

Q11. Is it possible to feel worse after a session?
A11. For the first few days you can feel more tired and emotional. If however, you seem to be deeper into your issues then this is an indication that we have some more work to do! I will try to explain this. Many people come for healing and magically expect to feel fantastic immediately afterwards, if you like, to be on a high and “standing at the top of a mountain”. This is understandable and this can and often does happen. HOWEVER – the goal of healing is not simply to stand at the top of the mountain, it is to stand at the top of the mountain and have a beautiful view all around you (your life), to look down from the pinnacle and see lush and verdant valleys, not dark nasty swamps. To give you an example, let us say that “Ms Client” has been suffering from depression for years, she has a poor diet, no friends, does not go out, has no interests etc. After the session the depression “magnet” and the attached beliefs will have been changed. Ms Client feels great as she is driving home – better than she has done for years! But when Ms Client gets over the initial high, she may go downhill - she is still lonely. So she then needs to attend to her diet, make efforts to make new friends and to find some things that interest her to get her out of the house. There may be people around her that she needs to build some bridges with, she may need to put a weight loss or exercise programme together …..in short, she needs to be responsible for her own healing. Please note however that life coaching sessions are also available to support and help you move forward with your life.

Q12. How long does a session normally take and what is the hourly rate?
A12. It is usual for the first session to take 1.5 – 2 hours, Subsequent sessions normally take 1-1.5 hours. The fee is £80.00 per hour

Q13.Where are you based?
A13. I am based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK, however please note that I also work world-wide on a remote basis via the telephone, so distance is not a problem and having a remote session is just as good as a face to face session, in fact sometimes it is nicer, because you don’t have to travel home afterwards, you are already there.

Q14. What is a chakra?
A13. A chakra is an energy centre in our body, the 7 main ones are found along the spine, starting at the base of the spine, the sacral ( just below the belly button), the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, the third eye ( between the eyebrows), and the top of the head. They are seen as spinning wheels of light. We also have smaller chakras in our hands and feet and many other areas around our body and out of our physical body! The ones along the spine are the ones I work with.

As the energy is released you can feel tingling in your body, or twitching of your muscles, this is completely normal.

Q15.How do I get the best results from my session?
A15. It is always advisable to do any homework you are given as soon as you can and to ensure that you take the salt baths for the first week after the session. In addition, to really benefit from the work, recognise that you need to receive healing on many levels of your being. It will really assist you to follow a balanced diet that is high in vegetables and fruit, aim for 50% vegetables at each meal if you can. Living foods contain light, and this is what we are made of, so eating foods that were once living, such as fruit and veg, greatly assist not only our physical bodies but also our energy bodies, which surround and inform the physical. Remember that no one diet is good for all, we all utilise food differently – I have found metabolic typing very useful to ensure I get the foods my body needs.

Also, going for regular deep tissue massage is a great help, it really gets all our old “stuff” moving out of the lymph system. I see a friend of mine, Angela for this and it is amazing, feel free to contact her at contact@agdelglyn.entadsl.com.

Being in nature is very grounding and connects us to the Earth. If you can, spend regular amounts of time outdoors.

And exercise of course, shakes off all the heavy energy, gets our circulation going, helps us out of depression by releasing endorphins out of the system – so exercise is vital too. It makes sense to try and find something you enjoy – you don’t have to spend time in the boring gym, try a dance class or a martial art! Just get moving!

Following your session…………….

………your energy body (the energy field that surrounds your physical body) will continue to release for about a week. The following will help you through this period.

Water – Please ensure that you drink lots of water following your session, at least 3-4 glasses above your normal intake. Many people are dehydrated on a day to day basis and this can result in many health problems, - please ensure you drink water regularly throughout the day and increase this following treatment.

Protein – Immediately after treatment you may feel a little light-headed, this is normal, but on the day of your session and for the following week consciously increase your protein intake. Protein will also help you if you find it hard to concentrate, feel dizzy, nauseous or disorientated.

Sea Salt Baths – It is recommended that you try to take Sea Salt Baths regularly for at least the first week following your session, in order to help the releasing process. Sea Salt Baths also help to pull out toxins from your physical body. A couple of cups of Sea Salt should be dissolved into your bathwater; Epsom Salts can also be used. Rosemary Oil further aids the process, and if you are bathing before you go to bed, then a few drops of Lavender Oil will help you to relax. Try to scoot down in the bath to get your throat chakra in the water as well as your lower chakras.

PLEASE ENSURE however that you stay in the bath for a maximum of 20 minutes only – to prevent toxins that have been released into the bathwater being reabsorbed into the body.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

It is possible that you may feel more tired and emotional than usual in the first few days after your session. This should settle back down after a week.

THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL AND YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY.

Just be gentle with yourself and try to get as much sleep/rest as possible. If a difficult emotion comes up, just breathe through it like you did in your session. All that is happening is that further emotion is being released from your energy body.
