Inca Stone Reading (Inca practice of divination)

Inca Stone Reading is an ancient Inca practice of divination. Thirteen small stones or crystals are infused with prayers and then allowed to fall randomly onto a specially woven cloth. The sections of the cloth indicate different areas of life. The stones themselves do not carry archetypal images unlike the cards used in Tarot readings; instead they provide information to the reader on any area of a person’s life. Three readings are carried out in order to obtain information on the enquirers past, present and future.

The reader uses her intuition and abilities to receive the information and images the stones hold and wish to convey to the enquirer. Readings can either be general in nature or related to a specific question or situation.
