Considerations Before Your Remote Shamanic Healing Appointment
You will need to have sea salt baths each day for one week after your appointment, so please purchase sufficient sea salt before the day of your appointment as you will start the baths day of your appointment. Sea salt can be purchased from your local supermarket – it is just normal sea salt that you use in cooking, but NOT table salt. The finer crystals are much better.
If you do not have a bath or cannot use one for some reason (or if you don’t have time for full baths) then many chemists such as Boots carry the DEAD SEA range. There is a BODY SCRUB which is made of fine salt from the Dead Sea mixed with Frankincense oil. This can be rubbed on to the throat, heart, solar plexus and sacral chakras in the shower and left on for a minute or two before rinsing off. (Do not use on crown, third eye and base chakras).
You will need to drink a lot of water in the week following your session so if you drink bottled water you may want to stock up on this before hand.
You may feel ungrounded afterwards so have a protein based snack handy for immediately after your session. Make sure that the first meal you have after your session, and for the next couple of days is heavy on protein as well.
Wear something warm and comfortable for your session and have a glass of water, a cosy blanket, and some tissues close to hand, (just in case!)
It is nice if you can prepare your room beforehand, perhaps draw the curtains, burn some incense to clear out old energies and have a candle burning in a safe location nearby. (It is also good to burn some incense after your session also to clear any heavy energy you may have released).
Try to make sure that you will not be disturbed for 2.5 - 3 hours. Put a sign over your doorbell and get someone to look after your kids! Your session will last around two hours and then it is recommended that you lie down and rest for an hour after your session.
If you have pets it is better that they are out of the room so they do not disturb you by jumping on you or making a noise as you will be deeply relaxed in your session.
It is preferable for you to lie down on a bed or sofa, but you can sit up if you prefer.
Turn off mobile phones (provided you are not calling on them of course).
If you have a hands free phone then headphones work really well as you can fully relax in your session and not have to hold the phone to your ear all the time.
Make sure your phone is adequately charged.
If you are calling from abroad make sure that you know the international dialling codes for the UK and you have the number ready and to hand well before your session. +44 ( 01727 845514)
(overseas callers remove the zero ).
Try to be as relaxed and as grounded as you can before you call. If you can, meditate for ten minutes before your appointment to settle yourself down. There is no need to be concerned.
It is helpful to have your diary handy for afterwards.
If you want to note down bullet points of the things your wish to discuss before your appointment this does help you to focus on what you want to work on.
After your session, and for the next couple of days it is a good idea to take things easy if possible You may feel a bit tired and/or emotional so it is great if you can give yourself some “me time” to process anything which comes up. So it is better not to rush back to work or organise parties etc! Do tell your family you may be a bit delicate for a while as well. (You will probably be fine but it’s a good excuse to get looked after for a bit anyway!)
